Throughout the season, Oakfield offers a variety of golf and social events encouraging non-member participation.

Our events include something for everyone whether it be charitable, corporate, social, women, men, juniors or mixed. Come out and experience the Oakfield difference!

2024 Public Events

  • Men's Events

    • Oakfield Men's 2024 Invitational 

      Registration Opens:
      Members: Monday June 1st
      Non-members: Tuesday, July 2nd

      Oakfield is pleased to host its annual Men's Invitational on Saturday August 24th & Sunday August 25th, 2024. The Invitational is a 36 hole individual championship with gross/ net prizing based on division and handicap. Registration fee includes two rounds of competitive golf, a practice round (played Mon - Thurs the week of), a BBQ both days, and prizing following play on the second day. Open to the first 132 players to register. 

      Practice rounds may be arranged through Blehr Mackinley by emailing your request to [email protected] and must be played within the Club's guest restrictions.
      Tee times for the tournament will start at 7am both days. Oakfield Member: $160 / Non-Members: $225 (all prices are hst inclusive) 

      The registration deadline is Monday August 17th. Please register through Golf Genius tournament portal, no other forms of registration will be accepted and full payment is required at time of registration.

Pub Nights

Join us for live music and delicious food Friday evening from 6-9 p.m. at Laurie's Restaurant and Bar. With featured menus and drink specials, there's no better place to make Friday your night out!

The Club offers a variety of outdoor activities in the off-season. We welcome dog walkers, snowshoers, cross-country skiers, and more!

Cross-Country Skiing

We are excited to partner with the Halifax Nordic Ski Club, who will be assisting with grooming the trails. The trails will be open as weather permits. The Halifax Nordic Ski Club is a community organization of over 800 skiers who enjoy cross-country skiing throughout HRM.
