About Us

Oakfield is a place to enjoy.  We have a wonderful, playable, and walkable golf course. Our conditions are immaculate and offer challenges scalable to your skill level.

We welcome all golfers and celebrate our champions.  A day at Oakfield isn't measured by your scorecard so much as it is by the friendly interactions, good shots, great people, and a cold beer at the end of your round.
Oakfield Golf & Country Club's championship 18-hole golf course was established in 1962 with lands donated by the Laurie Estate.  The golf course was redesigned in 2003 by renowned architect, Graham Cooke.

Everyone is welcome to experience Oakfield.  We've earned our place high on the list of every golfer in Nova Scotia.

We celebrate our champions, and those dedicated to enhancing both their own golf game along with the Oakfield experience.  Hard work and dedication is recognized and rewarded.

Our doors were opened by the principals of inclusivity and diversity.  Our membership includes all ages, skill levels and backgrounds.  Our layout is flexile to combinations of tee blocks.  Our membership structure caters to different amounts of golf.

Every member is an owner.  As owners, we share the responsibility to improve and promote the course — taking pride in member-responsibility maintenance, keeping a steady pace of play, enjoying choice events and attracting new members who both fit and enhance our culture.

Enhance the enjoyment of the game of golf for all.
Oakfield provides a championship caliber golf course in a natural, friendly, and inviting setting; designed to enhance everyone's golfing experience.
Oakfield keeps the game fun and forges lifetime bonds with family, friends and our course.
